My Background
I have enjoyed creating art, drawing and painting since I was young. I joined the Navy and after that I went to college.
I have a Commercial Art degree from MATC and a Bachelor's degree from Concordia. Over the years, I honed my skills in digital illustration and I absolutely love putting together peoples memories into something memorable and sometimes these "Reflections of the Past Illustrations" become heirloom gifts!
My Inspiration
My passion and inspiration for creating these memorable and joyful illustrations comes from both my pets and the people I've met over the years. My very first one was for a co-worker who was retiring after 30+ years and my peers couldn't come up with a decent gift. So Reflections of the Past was born. It was a huge hit and I've been creating these for all occasions!

Where to Start and What's the Process
- First please reach out to me using the "contact me" below.
- Then I will email you an Intake Form for you to fill out. If you leave me your phone number, I will reach out to you so we can have a conversation about what you're looking for. (As in, who's the illustration for, how well do you know this person, what's the occasion, will you want me to frame it? Example, if this is for your parents' wedding anniversary I will want to know their exact date, where they first met, a first kiss if known, first date, etc. If it is for a birthday or work anniversary I have other questions I will ask you.)
- I need to know when you need the final illustration in your hands. (Typically these take me about a month to complete from start to finish.)
- You can start researching photos of places that you can send me.
- After you have officially commissioned me to create this one-of-a-kind illustration (by sending me a non-refundable deposit), I will interact with you during the time I'm creating it. Sometimes I may need more clarifications and sometimes it's just to send you a work in progress image.
- The more stories and the more details you can give me, the more I have to work with and it will really give the illustration a personalized touch; and your friend and family members will be so pleased about how much you thought you put into this gift.
- I will ask for your final approval before it goes to print.
- Then the final print (and framed if you choose) will be beautifully presented to you.
